Starting therapy can be a difficult step, but when you feel stuck, helpless or hopeless, psychotherapy can redirect you toward your goals, and steer you toward finding a new meaning in life.
I offer a safe, welcoming space in the heart of New York City to address your concerns, feelings, and behavior. We will work together to confront the roots of anxiety, depression, lack of self-esteem and confidence, and self-destructive behaviors.
As an Italian-American with extensive training in Social Work and Psychotherapy, as well as over 20 years in the Corporate world, I bring a lot of clinical and life experience to my work as a therapist.
My approach to psychotherapy is mostly psychodynamic, but I blend in elements of supportive and cognitive therapies to ensure the most effective outcomes.
Key areas of my practice's focus are:
- Anxiety and depression
- Low self-esteem
- Workplace and career
- New immigrants: immigration and assimilation to the United States and New York
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Individuals (LGBTQ)
- Sexual addiction and sexually compulsive behavior (SCB)
- Psychotherapy in Italian (Psicoterapia in Italiano)
